The University of Helsinki will open new facilities for students in the Minerva building in early 2023, replacing to some extent the current self-study facilities in the Learning Centre.
The Minerva Learning Centre will remain in its current use until the end of 2022. Renovations will start in May 2023, but the space will be kept open during the spring and will be available to students until the renovations begin.
- The learning centre will be cleared of computers, screens and other computer equipment between December 2022 and January 2023.
- Part of furniture will be removed from December 5 onwards.
- The Office365 calendars for group study rooms K225 and K230 have been closed in November so that no reservations for 2023 can be made. Group study rooms can still be used during spring 2023, but cannot be booked.
The daily opening hours of the Learning Centre Minerva will no longer be updated on the library's website from January 2023.
