Information seeking and management for thesis writers 

This online course is designed for students about to start working on their bachelor's or master's thesis. Participate in this online course whenever and wherever it fits into your schedule. The course area is in Moodle, and the course is open until the end of the academic year. Students at the University of Helsinki register for the course in Sisu with the code LIB-200.

Information seeking drop-in sessions  

The information seeking drop-in sessions are short information sessions about different topics. Information seeking drop-in sessions are mostly held in Finnish (but a few in English and Swedish) and you do not need to register to them in advance.

Are you ready for an adventure? The Library Virtual Escape Game is running in the academic year 2023–2024. You’re about to embark on a magical journey, during which you’ll need to solve library-related problems online.  The game is available in Finnish, Swedish and English.

Students and staff at the University of Helsinki may participate in the courses free of charge. The courses can be taken free of charge by all students of the University of Helsinki, including students with the JOO flexible study right and Open University students.
