During the 2024-2025 academic year, Aleksandria will be renovated to reflect changing teaching and learning methods. The last day of opening before the renovation is Thursday 20 June. Students and staff can now have their say on the planned changes at three pop-up workshops with different content:
- Monday 8 April, functionality and guidance of the facilities
- Tuesday 23 April, Aleksandria's functional plans, plans for temporary facilities and results of the user survey
- Monday 6 May, thoughts about the change
Unlike previously announced, the workshops will take place on 23 April on the entrance floor of Porthania and on 6 May in the lobby of Metsätalo. All workshops will be held from 12 to 14 pm.
Answer the user survey and give feedback
You can visit the 1st floor of Aleksandria to see the current renovation plans. Feedback on the plans can be given via the user survey about the use of Aleksandria. It will be used to identify the needs for different types of self-study spaces. In addition, the survey allows you to leave questions about the renovation of the learning centre. The questionnaire is also accessible via QR codes located on the Aleksandria premises.
