24h reading room in Viikki closes in May 2020. Remember to return your key card!

The use of the reading room at the Viikki Campus Library outside the building's opening hours requires a personal key card. Cards will no longer be issued due to the forthcoming renovation of the Info Centre Korona. The library is asking current card holders to return their cards by May 15, 2020 at the latest.

The reading room is located on the ground floor of Info Centre Korona and it is open to University of Helsinki students 24 hours a day. You can use the reading room during term times from Monday to Friday between 8:00 and 19:00. Enter the facility through the building entrance lobby.

Using the reading room after 19:00 on weekdays and on weekends requires a personal key card. New key cards will no longer be issued after January 1, 2020 due to the forthcoming renovation of the Info Centre Korona. Students who have previously redeemed the key card can still use the space until May 15, 2020.

The library asks all key card holders to return their cards during the spring, no later than May 15, 2020. Return your card to the Viikki Campus Library: After filling out the invoice form at the customer service desk, the library will refund the deposit to your account.
