Helsinki University Library follows the guidelines of the University’s Facilities and Properties sector.
The main library in the Kaisa House has an Alumni Room, which is specifically intended for use by University of Helsinki alumni. The space can be reserved by University of Helsinki alumni Monday through Friday from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
The space can be reserved for two hours at a time during library opening hours for a meeting, group work or open discussion. Check the reservation status in the

At other times, the Alumni Room is also available for rent by others. Please contact the Kaisa Library directly to rent the room at other times. E-mail hulib-tilavaraukset[at]helsinki.fi.
Facilities are not rented out for party political or religious events or for commercial events that compete with the University’s activities (for example, seminars and training courses subject to a fee).
The use of meeting rooms is always subject to a facility rent.

Without permission, you may film or take photographs of the library buildings and premises only for personal use. For other purposes, productions photographed or filmed alone or with one model or interviewee are subject to the base price.
As a rule, using the Helsinki University Library facilities as a shooting location for purposes other than media use is subject to a fee.
Event organisers are responsible for the content and production of marketing materials related to their event.
For organisers of public events, the library offers a place to hang their poster in the library if required, as well as a portable A4 and A3 size noticeboard for the day of the event.
