Helsinki University Library operates on the four University campuses and also online.
The operations are led by the University Librarian Minna Niemi-Grundström. Vice-Rector Kai Nordlund is the chair of the Library board.
Helsinki University Library was established in 2010 when the campus, faculty and student libraries of the University of Helsinki were merged.
The Library provides its customers with comprehensive multidisciplinary printed and digital collections. Electronic material is available for all customers at Library facilities and online everywhere for the Members of the University community.
Everyone has the right to use the Library, and anyone over 15 years of age residing permanently in Finland has the right to borrow material from the library.
