Viikki Campus Library closed until further notice

Water damage has forced the closure of the Viikki Campus Library until further notice to allow for drying and repair work. You can make requests for Viikki’s collections through Helka and pick-up the books at Kaisa House, Kumpula and Meilahti. The academic journals on the K1 floor are currently unavailable.

The Viikki Campus Library will be closed until further notice due to drying and repair work caused by water damage. The renovation will take several months.

The library is looking into what kinds of services the campus library will be able to offer during the fall semester.

Make a request for Viikki's collections at Helka

You can make requests for Viikki’s collections through Helka. You can choose Kaisa House as well as Kumpula and Meilahti campus libraries as pickup locations for all books from Viikki. Pickup from Viikki is not currently possible, as the entire library is closed until further notice. You can check the pickup time of your reservations at Helka by logging into your customer information.

At the moment books can be returned at Kaisa House, Kumpula, and Meilahti during opening hours. In addition, drop boxes are available 24 hours a day at Kaisa House and Kumpula.

Journal collection temporarily unavailable

The academic journals of the Viikki library are unavailable while drying and repair work is underway. In urgent cases, you can inquire about journals and article copies by contacting the . The materials will be available again once the repair work is complete.
