Updates to the Helka user interface kicked off on Tuesday, June 16. At this point we’ve refreshed the startpage and and improved the search – it now searches the entire collection directly. Next, we’ll add Helka libraries' opening hours to the startpage. Later on, the look and feel of the interface will also be refreshed when we roll out the new version of the backend system.
The improvements are based on user feedback regarding the startpage, as well as insights from UX testing. You’re welcome to share your thoughts via the Contact the library button in Helka.
