Save the Date: NVAITC Webinar Series on AI Applications in Computational Sciences.

In March and April 2021, The NVIDIA AI Technology Center (NVAITC) Finland in collaboration with FCAI and CSC are organizing a webinar series focusing on AI applications in computational sciences, with a goal of bringing together AI researchers and researchers in other fields.

The NVIDIA AI Technology Center (NVAITC) Finland in collaboration with FCAI and CSC are pleased to announce a webinar series focusing on AI applications in computational sciences, with a goal of bringing together AI researchers and researchers in other fields. Each webinar will highlight a different scientific field and they are given by domain-specific experts who are using AI as part of their numerical simulation (HPC) workflows.

The webinars will be running from the beginning of March every three to four weeks as part of the AI Across Fields Forum. The first three sessions are:

4 March 2021, 16:00: AI in Atmospheric Science by Dr. David Hall (NVIDIA)

25 March 2021, 11:00: AI in Computational Fluid Dynamics by Prof. Ricardo Vinuesa (KTH)

20 April 2021, 10:00: AI in Material Science by Dr. Milica Todorovic (Aalto)

All times are EET (Finland time). Full details, including Zoom links, will be communicated a couple of weeks before each session.
