Most notably, the Faculty of Pharmacy has been ranked 50th worldwide in Pharmacy.
The QS rankings evaluate universities using metrics including academic reputation, employer reputation, and research citations, providing a comprehensive perspective on global subject-level performance.
"We are particularly pleased that this strong performance in Pharmacy reflects our long-term commitment to advancing pharmaceutical research excellence," says Mikko Airavaara, Vice Dean of Research at the Faculty of Pharmacy.
The result places the University of Helsinki among a select group of European institutions recognised at the highest level in pharmaceutical sciences. It underscores the Faculty's continued investment in research quality, international collaboration, and academic rigour across all areas of pharmacy.
