Join us to celebrate the history and future of pharmacy education 9.12.2022

Pharmacy has been taught at the University of Helsinki since the early 19th century. The Decree on Pharmaceutical Education and Degrees in Finland was issued in 1897 and the Department of Pharmacy was established the same year, so it's time to celebrate 125 years!

Come to Viikki or remotely to listen to the history of pharmacy over the years and be inspired by new developments in teaching and research. The Innoopeli prize for the development of teaching in Pharmacy will also be awarded at the event.

The celebration seminar will take place in Viikki, at the Info Centre Korona (Viikinkaari 11), on Friday 9 December from 12.15-16.00. Online participation is also possible. The presentations are in Finnish or in English.
