In the Art Meets Science exhibition, art and research go hand in hand

Researchers and artists highlight the research of the University of Helsinki's Faculty of Pharmacy through a joint art exhibition. The unique exhibition at Gallery Albert IX is open until April 23rd.

Exhibition in Galleria Albert IX in Helsinki dives into the worlds of art and science to give a completely new perspective to the scientific research conducted within the University of Helsinki's Faculty of Pharmacy. 

The Art Meets Science exhibition consists of 30 pieces of art created by 18 artists who were inspired by the research conducted across 13 different research groups within the University’s Faculty of Pharmacy.

From paintings to dance and ceramics, these pieces reflect the diverse nature of research conducted within the faculty. Further information about the artists and researchers who participated in this project can be found on the Art Meets Science blog.  

The opening of the exhibition was held on April 6, and the exhibition will be open until April 23rd. 

Art Meets Science exhibition is open to the public 7–23rd April 2022, Gallery Albert IX, Albertinkatu 9, Helsinki:  

  •     Mon–Fri 11 am – 6 pm 
  •     Sat–Sun 10 am – 4 pm 

During Easter the exhibition will be open daily from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
