My research aims at understanding the Big Bang: by studying the very early Universe we can test fundamental theories of physics, and trace the history of the first few instants of time. I am particularly interested in gravitational waves as way to directly observe the conditions when the Universe was only a few picoseconds old.
University researcher in planetary sciences, focused especially on asteroids, their optical properties, and light scattering.
Space physics research using HPC numerical simulations (Vlasiator)
Focus on energetic particles and collisionless plasma shock
I'm a Postdoctoral researcher at the Accelerator Laboratory at the University of Helsinki focusing on computational material science. My main research field is multi-scale modeling simulations of irradiation in metals.
