In the Spring of 2023, it has been 25 years since the Erik Castrén Institute of International Law and Human Rights was established. Over these 25 years, ECI has hosted many research projects, organized a multitude of events, and housed dozens of researchers, including academic visitors. Some might even say ECI has helped set the global research agenda in the discipline of international law. In order to mark the occasion, ECI organizes a public event, looking at the academic and professional landscape and the way it has evolved during these 25 years.
