Courses in Meteorology Study Track

The students in the study track of meteorology gain a comprehensive understanding of atmospheric dynamics, numerical modelling, and observing systems by completing the compulsory advanced dynamic meteorology courses (50 cr). These courses assume prerequisite knowledge equivalent to the 25 credits BSc level course package Basic Studies in Meteorology. If needed, however, these BSc level courses can also be completed as part of the MSc degree.

Structure of the study track:
Compulsory studies common to all study tracks 40 cr
Compulsory courses of the study track 50 cr
Optional advanced studies min. 5 cr
= minimum of 95 cr of advanced studies, maximum 120 cr
+ 0-25 cr of other studies (you can include prerequisite courses here)
= 120 cr in total  (max 135 cr)
