General information

The studies begin by contacting any of the personnel of the social statistics study track (see above) in order to form a personal study plan. The plan works as a guide for the student when choosing courses and timing the studies. It is also a good idea to meet and talk about the subject of the master’s thesis with the personnel as soon as possible. Working in Statistics Finland or in research institutes or in private sector companies offer good platforms for completing the master’s thesis.

For more detailed information about the studies, see the advice for the statistics study track and contact any of the personnel listed above (by email). When coming to meet us, please note that our offices are located at the Faculty of Social Sciences in the City Centre Campus (street address: Unioninkatu 35, 3rd floor). You are welcome!
