Master's studies

Admission to the Bachelor’s Programme in Liberal Arts and Science gives you an automatic right to continue in multiple Master's Programmes at the University of Helsinki without a separate application, as well as gives you a leg up in applying for others.
Master's programme options after completing your bachelor's degree

Your eligibility to continue in different master's programmes after LAS depends on the disciplinary modules that you include in your bachelor's degree. However, the programme has been designed so that 1) many of the modules are shared between eligibilities, and 2) there is wide room for finding your own final set of modules through experimentation.

The official detailed information on master's programme options and their requirements is in the service. However, as that has not yet been fully updated, the provisional options and requirements are also listed below (if there would happen to be a disparity between what is stated below and what is stated in the Studies service, that one takes priority).
