We are pleased to welcome you at an international seminar in University of Helsinki!

Are you a PhD student, a newly graduated PhD research, or someone who supports researchers' career development? If so, come and join us. You can choose from a series of workshops, all free, on a range of career development topics. These are facilitated by individuals researching early career researcher development. 

The international seminar aims to promote research based understanding on doctoral experience, and offer tools for promoting early career researcher development. The seminar is intended to those early career and advanced researchers who want to develop their research based understanding on various aspects of doctoral experience and factors contributing to it, and develop further their expertise in the field.

The seminar comprises of series of parallel workshops focusing on different aspects of doctoral education. Participants can choose one or two workshops according to their own interests. The seminar is free of change for the participants, but only those who register in advance can attend.

The seminar is organized by Center for University Teaching and Learning, University of Helsinki in collaboration with University of Oulu, Finland. The seminar is a multiplier event of the Erasmus funded RID-SSISS-project. The workshops are given by an international researcher network specialized in research on doctoral education and researcher careers. Review the workshop organizers here.
