Registration for the dinner is now closed, as it took place during the conference registration process.
To reach Uunisaari, we will meet at 18:00 at Kompassitori, in the Ullanlinna district, where a boat will transport dinner attendees to the venue (a 5-minute ride, which will take place in different groups).
The organizers will leave for the dinner meeting point right after the scientific programme, and we invite dinner attendees to join the group walking to Ullanlinna (a 20–30-minute walk from the University of Helsinki Main Building). Alternatively, you can make your own way to the departure point by tram or other means (e.g., taxi). If you foresee that you might be late to reach the boat departure point at 18:00, please let us know by email at
The dinner will consist of a buffet-style variety of food and a welcome toast. The bar will be open for additional drinks.
Apart from offering amazing views of the Helsinki archipelago from one of the most beautiful locations in the Finnish capital, the venue also includes a group sauna, which will be open from 19:00 to 21:00. If you wish to join the sauna, please bring a bathing suit and a towel. Uunisaari has changing rooms and showers available for our use.
At 23:00, we will have to leave the venue, and the same boat transportation will take us back to the mainland.
