Helsinki International Conference of Gastronomy 2027

The 5^th edition of the International Academy of Gastronomy’s annual International Conference of Gastronomy welcomes you to Helsinki! 

From August 23 to 25, 2027, the historic main building of the University of Helsinki will host researchers, practitioners, and policy makers from around the world to explore the wide-ranging, multidisciplinary real-world impact of gastronomy.

In addition to our central theme, “Gastronomy meets systems in food security”, the conference will have separate tracks around our topics:

• Gastronomy of Future Foods & Technology
• Everyday Gastronomy
• Gastronomy of Culture, Equity, and Access
• Gastronomy in Practice
• Policy and Governance Around Gastronomy
• Nordic Gastronomy

Join us for keynotes, panel discussions, presentations, workshops, and, of course, good food, good coffee, and good ambiance!

The language of the conference is English.
