Contributed talks and posters

In addition to the invited presentations, we will host five shorter talks, and a poster session. Everyone interested in contributing a talk or a poster is welcome to propose a topic. The organising committee, together with Prof. Pertti Mattila, will choose the speakers and posters among the applicants. Special preference will be given to young and female speakers.

We will cover accommodation, travel costs, conference fee and conference dinner for speakers who contribute a talk. Depending on the funding situation, limited additional travel support may be available for those presenting a poster, and other participants. Proposing a talk or a poster is necessary for receiving financial support.

If you wish to apply for a contributed talk/poster, send an email to containing your name and affiliation, title and abstract of your proposed talk/poster, and whether you wish to apply for the additional travel support.

  • Submit your proposal for a contributed talk/poster by 28 February.
  • We will let you know by March 15 if your talk/poster has been chosen, and if you will receive financial support.
