The symposium Advances and Future of High-Grade Serous Ovarian Cancer research was organized on the World Ovarian Cancer Day, May 8, 2019, in Helsinki, Finland. The purpose of the symposium was to bring together experts in High-Grade Serous Ovarian Cancer (HGSOC) and to provide an update on the current status and future of HGSOC research and treatment.
This symposium was organized by members of the EU-funded HERCULES consortium. The meeting chair was Prof. Sampsa Hautaniemi and meeting coordinator Tiia Pelkonen.
The symposium was sponsored by AstraZeneca, Cancer Foundation Finland and University of Helsinki, and organized by the HERCULES consortium. HERCULES project has funding from the European Union Horizon 2020 Research and Innovation program (grant No 667403).
