Pentti Haddington is Professor of English Language and Interaction in the Research Unit for Languages and Literature at the University of Oulu.
His main research interests include conversation analysis, talk-in-interaction, social action, multimodality and embodiment.
Maria Grazia Sindoni is Professor of English Linguistics at the University of Messina.
Her research focuses on multimodality, discourse analysis, digital communication, translanguaging, and video interaction, with more recent work exploring how language ideologies emerge in meaning-making and examining multimodal computation in dialogue with multimodal sociosemiotics.
Beate Schirrmacher is Associate Professor of Comparative Literature at Linnaeus University and a member of the Linnaeus University Center of Intermedial and Multimodal Studies.
She has published on the intermedial relationship of music and literature. Her current research interests focus on digital intermediality, the digital transformation of journalism, and specifically on the interplay of truth claims and narrative strategies in news narration.
Amanda Wasielewski is Associate Senior Lecturer of Digital Humanities and Associate Professor (Docent) of Art History in the Department of Archives, Libraries, and Museums (ALM) at Uppsala University.
Her research investigates the impact of digital technology in art, architecture, and cultural heritage institutions. Her recent focus has been on the use of artificial intelligence techniques for the analysis and creation of art and other visual media.
