Our understanding of the universe is based on advances made in basic science research over approximately the last 100 years. The core scientific disciplines of math & statistics, physics, chemistry and computer & data science also set the basis for all modern technology. In the interdisciplinary Bachelor's Programme in Science, you get to work on the cutting edge of exciting basic research and application development in all of these subjects.
The Bachelor's Programme in Science has two separate admission processes with different application periods. For Admission Group 2, the admission is based on the grades of the Finnish matriculation examination, RP- or DIA-examination administered in Finland or IB- or EB-diploma. If you do not have any of the mentioned degrees, you must apply within Admission Group 1.
