Open University studies from Master’s Programme in Nutrition Science

The Master's Programme in Nutrition Science (NUTR)* focuses on human nutrition and related phenomena at individual and population levels. 

*Until August 2026 the program is also known as the Master's Programme in Human Nutrition and Food-related Behaviour (HNFB).

 

From August 1, 2026, the bachelor's-level studies in nutrition science will belong to the (Language of instruction in the programme is mainly Finnish.)

Pilot courses from Master’s programme in International Food Business and Gastronomy

On 1 August 2027, the Faculty of Agriculture and Forestry will launch a new degree programme: Master’s programme in International Food Business and Gastronomy.

At the Open university you can study a couple of pilot courses from the new degree programme as early as the academic year 2026-2026.
