Scoring of applications in international master's programmes
Here you can find information about the scoring of applications when applying to International Master's Programmes.
Scoring of applications

All applications submitted to Admission Services by the deadline and according to instructions will be assessed by the relevant degree programme. The assessment is carried out on the basis of predetermined admission criteria. The assessment of the application and the applicant’s previous education is known as the academic assessment. Degree programme-specific admission criteria are available in the Studyinfo service, while the scoring practices of different faculties and degree programmes are presented here.

The menu on the left-hand side lists the faculties included in the application round for international master's programmes. Further information on scoring practices of individual faculties is provided on faculty-specific websites. The scoring used by Finnish- and Swedish-language master’s programmes in the joint application procedure is available on a dedicated site.
