Speaker: Joerg Teschner Title: What is the Analytic Langlands Correspondence? Abstract: The Analytic Langlands correspondence (ALC) was introduced by Pavel Etingof, Edward Frenkel and David Kazhdan in 2019 as a function theoretic version of the Langlands correspondence. It is more accessible to analysts than the geometric one and also is believed to have a close relationship to Conformal Field Theory (CFT) by the work of Teschner and Gaiotto and Teschner. The talk will give a bird’s eye view of of ALC. For those interested in more details it will be followed by two informal lectures at 14-16: 1. What is the Separation of Variables (SOV)? 2. How do ALC, SOV and CFT fit into a larger picture?
