Soft x-ray chamber
  • inside a class 10000 clean room
  • internal volume of the chamber about 100 litres
    (diameter 63 cm, height 30 cm)
  • final pressure 1 mbar in less than 10 minutes
  • Ti-anode miniature x-ray tube, 50 kV x-ray generator
  • motorized x-z and theta stages inside the chamber
  • PC-based 4-channel motion control and 4-channel counter system, SPEC software
  • x-ray energy range 0.1 - 50 keV, depending on the detector
