First of all, all the stuff portrayed on these pages is more or less about Cyberpunk 2020, a role-playing game by R.Talsorian Games Inc. This stuff has nothing to do with real life, so don't get scared if you don't understand what it's about.

The Edge's user interface has been improved a bit. Nowadays the links on the top of the page take you directly to their respective sub-page on the site. Worth noting is the "Cut the crap" link that can be found on the main sub-index. If you don't feel like reading my hype, click this link to get to choose essays to read from a complete list right away.

The Edge looks the best when viewed at a relatively high resolution (1024 x 768 or bigger).

Note to the Internet Explorer 5 users: If you cannot see some of the art on The Edge (and it is replaced by a little red 'x'), right click on the space where the picture should be and select 'show picture'. This is a known bug in the IE5.

The Edge is a webpage that is completely dedicated to the wonderful essays and essay-like writings found scattered around across the Internet. My personal opinion is, that the most important thing one can find from a CP2020 website are essays. Essays are straight words from one player to another, explaining things that experience has taught, clarifying many unclear things about Cyberpunk and, most of all, setting people "into the mood" - ready to go dangling on the edge with the Attitude coursing through their veins. Don't forget the Rules:

So, what does this place contain?

The Edge is divided between four main sections plus links and contact info pages. The main sections are Main (current index), Newbies, Players and GMs. Needless to say what's for whom, but I'll do it anyway:

Newbies
This section of The Edge contains Sputnik's Correspondence School For Potential Punks. It's a place for new Cyberpunk players and players who really haven't got a clue of what the heck Cpunk is about. If your character walks around in a MetalGear with a Barret-Arasaka Light 20mm or in a chainmail armour with a sword, this place is for you.

Players
This section is for the Punks who want to get into the mood. It contains writings of different styles and areas, but their general purpose is to give you, the player, some new kicks on the world under the sky the colour of a TV set tuned on a dead channel. If you want to make yourself sound, seem and think even more down and dirty, this place's for you.

GMs
This place is for you, GM's, the brave imagineers of the dark future.
