Wittgensteinian Criticism

So far I have two papers on Wittgenstein available in HTML form:

"On Ladder Withdrawal Symptoms and One Way of Dealing with Them" (May 2000). My modest contribution to the project to present a "new Wittgenstein" that is currently led by Cora Diamond and James Conant.

"The Strange Death of Ordinary Language Philosophy" (April 2001). A reassessment of the legacy of Ernest Gellner's book Words and Things (1959), an attack on everything Wittgenstein represents.

There's more to come soon, including my papers "Reintroducing the Examined Life" and "The Idea of a So-Called Silence".
