The 2001 World Human Powered Speed Challenge

From the 1st to the 6th of October 2001 four or five rather different speedbike teams will gather at Battle Mountain in Nevada, USA, to compete against each other with the goal of setting new World Records. The main distance will be the 200 m sprint with the flying start, but it might be that other records are attempted if the conditions are favourable. The following links give more information about the contenders and about the corresponding event in 2000 at the same place.
