LWBs are not so common in Europe, but there are some. This Fateba LWB participated also in the big opening parade trough Roskilde. The parade preceded the official opening of the competitions.
The 200 m was the first race in Roskilde. The results were not so great because of the strong headwind.
This guy has an helmet which matches rather good the color of his vehicle.
Bjällby SWBs were probably the most popular vehicles in Roskilde. This is a race equipped Bjällby Tough.
The nicest novelties seen in Roskilde were the Kestrel low racers in my opinion. They are made in England.
This fully faired Windcheetah comes from Switzerland. Note that the carbon fiber kevlar fairing is different from the original "Speedy" fairing designed by Mike Burrows.
Henry Riedel, Sweden, has built several nice SWBs. Here he is racing in the road race. He used the same fully faired SWB in Roskilde as in Cologne, but it was painted bright yellow after Cologne. This was because the unpainted carbon fiber kevlar fairing became soft in intense sunlight.
Some recumbent bicycles can be ridden 'no hands', at least for a short while. Here Pär Borgström is demonstrating it on his newly built USS SWB Gulan 2, revision 1.
