I'm a researcher working in the project Compact Muon Solenoid (CMS) Software and Physics at Helsinki Institute of Physics (HIP) at the University of Helsinki. The CMS-detector is one of the general purpose detectors for the future CERN proton-proton storage ring Large Hadron Collider (LHC).
I wrote my PhD-thesis in the NA52 experiment at CERN working for the High Energy Physics Division (SEFO) at the Physics Department of Helsinki University. My PhD-thesis can be found by follwing this link. The main goal of the NA52-experiment was to search for strangelets.
I was a member of the organizing committeés of the following two workshops: NORDUGRID WORKSHOP and WORKSHOP ON b / tau PHYSICS AT THE LHC.
