The topics of the conference are analytic and numerical methods for elliptic spectral problems, and particular interest is focused on periodic media, waveguides, spectral band-gap structures, scattering of waves and other phenomena, which are relevant in mathematical models of wave propagation in material physics, fluid dynamics and so on. The conference site is the Exactum building at the Kumpula Campus of the University of Helsinki.
