The school is organized by the NorFA project Theoretical Particle physics and Cosmology and Nordita.
The number of participants is limited to 40 students.
Applicants will be notified of acceptance by end of November 2002.
The
cost of the school will be covered for Nordic students. This includes
accommodation in double rooms, full board with 3 meals a day, and the
transportation from/to the Oslo airport.
For non-Nordic participants, the school costs 3600
NOK/student.
Pending the final funding, we hope to be able to provide financial
support for travel costs also. For funding possibilities,
please see the application form above.
Gausdal Høifjellshotel is located in the mountains north
of Lillehammer (see this very rough map to get an
idea where it is). Its altitude is approx. 800 m from the sea level,
close by the tree limit. There are ample possibilities for skiing (both
cross-country and downhill) and other winter sports.

Transportation: There will be bus transportation from the Oslo
airport to Gausdal at 13.30 on January 4. On
January 10, the bus will be back at the airport by 12.00.
Please plan your flights accordingly. If these times are
not suitable for you, please contact one of the organizers (see below).
