This page contains pictures of Caspian Gulls Larus cachinnans from Tampere dump in 2004.

14 Caspian Gulls were seen on the dump of Tampere (Tarastenjärvi) in the year 2004. This can be compared to the total number of individuals seen in Finland until the end of year 2003, which is 39. It is obvious that the species is much rarer in Finland as compared to the neighbouring countries.

Pictures of those 9 birds I have seen (four 1cy, two 2cy, two 3cy and one near-adult) are shown in the order of age. Any comments are welcome!
