HAS MOVED TO Island Packers

EVERY YEAR THE Pacific Gray Whale migrates 6,000-10,000 miles to secluded lagoons in Mexico to breed and bear their young then journey back to their feeding grounds in the Bering Sea. ISLAND PACKERS invites to observe these magnificent animals as they pass through the waters of the Santa Barbara Channel. HALF-DAY and ALL-DAY Whale Watching tours begin December 26th and continue through March.

Half-Day tours offer a relaxing excursion with plenty of time for photography, birdwatching and enjoying the antics of playful marine mammals that frequently follow alongside.

All-Day Whale Watching excursions include a narrated cruise along the shore of Anacapa Island to view seals, sea lions and other marine life. You will also have the opportunity to go ashore for some island exploration.

ISLAND PACKERS invites you to come aboard for an exciting -- and educational -Nature Discovery Tour of the Channel Islands National Park. A variety of tour itineraries are offered year-round giving visitors a rare opportunity to witness the seasonal ebb and flow of life in a marine wilderness.

All ISLAND PACKERS' tours emphasize the joy of discovery. Tour groups are small, the mood is friendly and the crew enthusiastic. Since weather is often unpredictable -- and, on occasion, island landings may be wet -- be sure to dress comfortably (in layers), wear sturdy shoes (with non-skid soles), protect your camera, snacks, etc. by putting them in plastic bags, and be physically and mentally prepared for possible "extra excitement" as you discover the unique nature of Channel islands National Park.
