Family and friends are everything. Here's
a little tribute.
My wife Elina keeps
the "show" running at home. Twin boys Arttu and Perttu were born in June
2001 and Viljo was born in Dec 2004.

"The forest echoes
back the way you address it" was something you taught me.
On Saturday we heard the gently echoes of silent gratitude.
My grandfather Atte Korhonen (1909-1987)
was
a multiply skilled person. He got me interested in amateur radio.
Our roots are in
Säkylä (Vähäsäkylä and Korpi -villages); in
Huittinen (Jokisivu -village), and in Vampula. My father was able to trace
ancestors back to the 1550s, which is the furthest back in time you can
go in Finland.
- 1920s Reino Tuominen (later Korpela), my grandfather,
he owned a truck in the 1920s but lost it in "the liquer-rally" during the
1930's depression.
When his family moved to the Korpela-farm in Vampula in 1946; they changed
their family name, which was common in those days.
- 1915 Kalle and Martti Kuusisto; Great uncles.
Pictured by Martti Ryti in Huittinen. Kalle served the military; great-uncle
Martti drove a truck. great-uncle Kalle lived to be 100.
