Topic

Synchrotron radiation sources, production and properties. X-ray optics,
instrumentation and detectors. Very recent advances
in materials science are highlighted. These include structural studies,
x-ray microscopy, imaging, time-dependent measurements, use of coherence
and high pressure applications. Also practical details related to
beamtime applications and performing synchrotron radiation experiments
are discussed.
