Welcome to my homepages. I'm studying cognitive science at Helsinki university and about to work on my masters thesis on concepts and/or cognitive architecture [10.11.2004]. Well, yes... cognitive architectures, or how to build a robot [10.11.2005]. Actually the acquisition of syntax seems to be more relevant... oh wait... now we come to the problem of induction [17.6.2006].

• [17.6.2006] I don't use Occam's razor.
• [18.12.2005] Uuden Fantasian keikka "Kusessa" eli Kuudennessa linjassa (eilen 17.12.2005) oli erittäin hyvä. Jotkut tosin kaipasitvat perinteisiä instrumentteja tai laulua, mua se ei häirinnyt. Pojat oli poikia. Soittivat tarkasti täsmällisesti omalla/oikealla fiiliksellään. Tosin ajoittain ja lopussa hieman pitkästyin mutta varmaankin kyllä vähäisten yöunien johdosta. Yksikään soitetuista kappaleista ei ollut (uudelleen)julkaistulla CD:llä eikä Luulot pois EP:llä. Yksi setin hiteistä, joka erityisesti jäi mieleen, oli juuri sopivasti sämplätty versiointi Tuomari Nurmion lasten mehuhetkestä. Oli mukava nähdä artisteja, jotka eivät esiintyneet, vaan tekivät omaa juttuaan.

• [10.11.2004] SYMBOLS SUCK! I'm pretty fed up with the symbolic paradigm: What's the use of all the fancy possibilities in manipulating symbols when the human - not the computer - is the only one who can attatch the meaning of the symbol to the reality, the world around us? This is know as the symbol grounding problem. So, my approach would be to investigate concepts independent of symbols.
