Depressed mother arrested over infant's death
fall A 36-year-old first-time mother suffering from post-natal depression has been arrested for allegedly hurling her four-month-old baby daughter six floors down to her death from a Yuen Long flat. The infant's father, 37, reported to the police at about 8.40am on Sunday that his baby had fallen from her room on the eighth-floor flat at No 35 Yau San Street, Yuen Long, police said. She was found lying on the second-floor podium and died shortly after arrival at Pok Oi Hospital. |
