Abstract:

Helsinki Detector Laboratory provides facilities, equipment and expertise for Finnish research groups working with the
instrumentation of large particle physics experiments. Currently, the laboratory supports the detector upgrading activities of
CERN CMS, ALICE and TOTEM collaborations. In addition, the laboratory participates in the education of future particle physicists
by providing hands-on laboratory courses about detector technologies.
