General:

Helsinki Institute of Physics (HIP), the Department of Physical Sciences of University of Helsinki and the Division of Particle Physics of the Finnish Physical Society are organizing a CERN 50 year anniversary colloquium on Thursday, 28 October 2004 (followed by the Particle Physics Day on Friday, 29 October 2004) in at Physicum at Kumpula campus.

The colloquium is open to anyone interested to know more about CERN and particle physics.

In conjunction with the colloquium, two poster exhibitions
