Jan Cristina

I am a fourth year PHD student at the University of Helsinki working under Pekka Pankka and Ilkka Holopainen, working on geometric analysis, specifically geometric mapping theory. I have general interest in sub-Riemannian geometry, global analysis, quasiconformal and quasiregular maps, conformal geometry (and generalisations to sub-Riemannian conformal geometry), and analysis on fibre bundles. I have broad interests in differential topology and geometry, and applications, and in particular am in the arduous process of reviving an interest in theoretical physics. I also hope at some point to be better able to acquaint myself with the non-commutative geometry developed by Alain Connes.

I intend to keep here some links to interesting things. If you wish to get back to this page click on the page title at the top left.
