Cognitive science is a multidisciplinary enterprise that comprises areas of cognitive psychology, linguistics, neuroscience, computer science and philosophy. Cognitive science investigates the capacities underlying intelligent behaviors in organisms and artefacts. These include the capacity for perception, learning, memory, thought, and language.
