Call for Papers: XXI Finnish Symposium on Late Antiquity
'Popular & Elite: Religious Practices in Late Antiquity'
Tvärminne, Finland, 12–13 October 2012
The Finnish Symposium on the study of Late Antiquity meets in the autumn for the 21st time. The topic is now religious practice around the Mediterranean in Late Antiquity. Suggestions for papers are invited until 1 June.

North American Studies conference eyes up the West
The Maple Leaf & Eagle Conference on North American Studies dissects the West in movies, history and international relations – and much more. The biennial conference has evolved into one of the biggest symposia in its field in Europe. This year the conference runs on May 8–11.
