Online payment is possible by invoice/bank transfer and by credit card (Visa, Mastercard or Maestro). Using Visa, Mastercard or Maestro is preferred. The organizers add an invoicing fee of 12 € if you choose to pay with invoice/bank transfer.

Registration is complete only after the local organisers have received your payment.

*** Avec fee is meant for accompanying persons who wish only to attend the social programme (the Rector's and City Hall Receptions). Lunch and the conference dinner are NOT included in the avec fee, but they may be purchased separately when registering online.

The on-site registration desk at TSC 2015 accepts only cash payments. Please bring with you the exact sum.

Conference dinner

Price of the conference dinner: 60€ (includes three courses, an aperitif, 2 glasses of wine and a coffee/tea + avec).

Letter of invitation

The local organisers are pleased to send a personal letter of invitation to enable participants to apply for supporting funds or visas for attending TSC 2015. These invitation letters cannot be considered as an offer of financial support by the organisers.

In order to receive a letter of invitation
a) your abstract needs to be accepted to be presented at TSC 2015
b) if you are not presenting a paper, you need to first register online and pay the registration fee for TSC 2015.

If the condition a) or b) applies to you, please send an email to the congress manager, Ms. Päivi Seppälä ( if you need a letter of invitation.


By May 19, 2015: A full refund of conference fee and other payments (NOTE: the organizers deduct the handling costs of 30 €).

From May 20, 2015: No refunds for any type of cancellations.

All notifications of cancellation should be send to the Conference Manager, Ms. Päivi Seppälä,

Reimbursement will not be granted for late arrival, unused services, unattended events or early departure from the conference.

Liabilities and insurances

The conference organisers do not take the responsibility of force majeure reasons for cancellation of the event (natural disaster, fires, outbreak of epidemic diseases, major strikes etc.). In force majeure cases, the TSC 2015 local organising committee decides on the possible refunds of the conference fees.

The conference participants should take care of their own travel, injury and medical insurances before the conference trip. The local organisers do not assume any liability for damage or injuries to persons or property during the conference.
