Welcome to the website of the Faculty of Theology Conferment Ceremony 2011
The Faculty of Theology will confer doctoral degrees in a solemn ceremony to be arranged on 27 May 2011. In the ceremony, Professor Markku Heikkilä will serve as the conferrer of degrees.
Those doctoral graduates of the Faculty of Theology, University of Helsinki who did not participate in the conferment ceremony of 2005 or an earlier ceremony, may receive their degrees in the ceremonial conferment of degrees to be held in May 2011.
The other participants will include representatives of the government, academia, churches and cultural institutions as well as invited guests.
This site will contain instructions for the participants as well as information on the Faculty’s decisions regarding the conferment ceremony.
