Welcome

The Philosophical Psychology, Morality and Politics Research Unit (PMP) is a Finnish research project on the history of the philosophical psychology of ethical and political discourse.
It belongs to the Academy of Finland's programme of Centres of Excellence in Research, and functions at the Universities of Helsinki and Jyväskylä.
The unit explores psychological assumptions in moral and political philosophy from classical Antiquity to the Enlightenment.
