STEP Events
STEP Application Info Session was organized on Tuesday, 8 February 2012 at the Department of Teacher Education. STEP personnel presented information about the programme, studying in it, and about the application to STEP. Here you can find the STEP Application Info Session slides.
In 2010
Part of the STEP pilots in the autumn 2010, students went on field trips to the Heureka Science Centre (lecturing in the picture above Hannu Salmi, Research Director at Heureka) and the Nuuksio National Park.
In 2009
In the autumn of 2009, the STEP Project organized a seminar concerning the initial planning of a teacher education programme in English in Haikko, Porvoo (Finland).
In December 2009, STEP also invited department staff to join in English as a Lingua Franca workshops that were geared for teachers teaching in English. The workshop teachers were researchers from the SELF Project at the Department of English (now the Department of Modern Languages).
